2022 Little League World Series Comes to an End

Hawaii Wins The 2022 Little League World Series

The Little League World Series just wrapped up and it was awesome as always.  This year featured one of the more dominant runs in LLWS history. The run was by Honolulu Little League which hails from Honolulu, Hawaii. The games take place in Williamsports, Pa.

They dominated the entire tournament, and that didn’t change one bit once they reached the championship round. Hawaii took home the win with a 13-3 win over Pabao Little League from Willemstad, Curaçao. Let’s just put it this way – for a week and a half, not one other team came close. Hawaii outscored their opponents 60-5 over the course of 6 games. If you want to see how the whole tournament played out you can do that here.

Hawaii is no stranger to the LLWS championship, this is their 4th win since 2005. Also, it’s their second championship in the last 4 years. So it’s clear they are always a threat every year. This year was like any other, it was amazing to see them win and celebrate. They also received a hero’s reception when they returned home. Check Out them returning home here.

They even got a shoutout from former President Obama – Check it out here.

As we stated in our previous blog, watching the little league world series can be a great experience for several reasons. If you happened to miss it this year, at the very least be sure to check out the highlights. After that, you’ll be ready to catch them starting next year. It’s pretty cool seeing such good fundamentals so early on in their baseball careers.
