Indoor Hitting League — Staten Island, Fall & Winter 2026–27
Real at-bats. Real stats. Real standings. All fall and winter, on HitTrax Gen 6.
The season ends in October and most kids don’t take a competitive swing until April. Six months off costs them timing, bat speed, and confidence — in that order. Every spring, the kids who kept playing separate themselves in the first two weeks.
This is how they keep playing.
How it works
Teams of 4 go head-to-head in a virtual MLB park — real pitching, real contact, and Gen 6 calling every ball in play the way it would actually land. Line drive in the gap, can of corn, or over the wall in right at Yankee Stadium.
- Every team plays 10. Champions play 12. Eight regular-season games plus a playoff doubleheader every team plays — 20 games if you play both seasons.
- Two full games every night, 6 innings or 30 minutes each, about an hour on the clock. Two shots at a win, every week.
- You pick your day — Thursday, Friday or Sunday — and it’s yours all season. Same day, same time, every week. You’ll know it before you pay.
- Field dimensions scale by division. An 8-year-old hits in a stadium sized for an 8-year-old. Home runs are earned, not given.
- Softball runs the same nights, on our dedicated softball machines.
Your age picks your time. You pick your day.
Baseball opens on Thursday. Sunday and Friday open as Thursday fills — so the spots you see are the spots that actually exist.

Questions parents actually ask
My kid has never faced live pitching. Good — this is the right place to start. Machine speed is set by division and we can dial it down for a first-timer. Nobody’s throwing 80 at an 8-year-old.
What happens if it snows? We’re indoors and heated, so the building is fine — the question is the roads. If travel looks bad we’ll postpone and reschedule rather than ask you to drive. You’ll hear from us by 2pm that day.
What if we miss a week? Vacation, illness, a school concert — tell us ahead and your team plays on with three. There’s no credit for a single player missing a night, but if we cancel a night, that week gets made up. You’ll get all 10 games or we’ll credit you for the ones you don’t.
What if the whole team can’t make it? Give us a week’s notice and we’ll move you into an open slot, usually within two weeks.
What if HitTrax goes down mid-game? We suspend and pick up from that exact point next week. Nobody loses a game to our equipment.
Can we switch days? Yes, if there’s room in your division. Ask us — we’d rather move you than lose you.
Do we need our own bat? No. We have loaners in every size. If you want your own, come to a demo day — free, no pressure, and you’ll hit with it on Gen 6 before you buy.
What if my kid doesn’t have a team? Sign up solo. We place you by age and skill. Most of our teams are kids who showed up alone.
