The Pro Player Minicamp features Top-notch baseball instruction from professional baseball players for players of all ages. Players will have the opportunity to work on hitting, fielding, pitching, and catching with professional baseball players. Camp will consist of two, 2-hour sessions and costs $120 (single session price $75). Our goal is to help you play at the next level. Session 1 is for players 7u to 10u. Session 2 is for players 11u through high school.

All of our coaches are current or former minor league players. Whether you are already a stud player or are just a beginner, our instructors will provide valuable feedback to make sure you leave this camp a better ballplayer. Campers will have full access to all Momentum has to offer, including Hit Trax hitting simulator, Rapsodo and Radar for throwing, and weight room for conditioning work.

About the Coaches

Vin Aiello

Vin has a 2.91 ERA in 4 seasons of Minor League Baseball.

Vin is a professional pitcher (Drafted in 2017 by the Miami Marlins) who attended Oklahoma University and Rider University. In 2022, he rehabbed from Tommy John Surgery, eventually finishing the year with the Staten Island Ferry Hawks. His career ERA in affiliated ball is 2.91. In the off-season, Vin enjoys offering private pitching lessons and works with players of all ages. Vin is a Staten Island native, attended Tottenville High School, played travel baseball for the SI Orioles, and played little league at Mid Island Little League.

Kevin Krause

Kevin has batted over .330 over his last 3 pro seasons with 34 homers in that span.

 

7-year professional baseball player. 9th round pick of the Pittsburgh Pirates in the 2014 MLB Draft. Kevin has batted over .330 over his last 3 pro seasons with 34 homers in that span. In college, Kevin had a .321 average, and a .403 on-base percentage. He also played a crucial role on the only team in Stony Brook University (America East Conference) history to make it to the College World Series while earning Freshman All-American honors. Kevin is a Staten Island lifer who loves to pass his knowledge on to the next generation, he attended Tottenville HS, where he won a city championship as a junior, and played at South Shore Little League.

Vin Timpanelli

Vin was signed by the Reds after flashing a 96 mph fastball at Mid Island Babe Ruth.

 

Vin is a pro pitcher who attended Saint Thomas Aquinas College and Ramapo College. Vin has the unique story of signing out of Mid Island Men’s League as a free agent. He was playing there during covid to try and stay sharp, and he opened up a lot of eyes with his high 90s fastball. Vin has a passion for pitching and is excited to work with everyone at camp! He is also a Staten Islander, attended Tottenville High School, played travel baseball for the SI Orioles, and played little league at South Shore Little League.

 

Jerry Huntzinger

Jerry slashed .280/.384/.483 with 13 HRs his Senior year of college.

Jerry is currently a player in the Toronto Blue Jays minor league system. Jerry signed with the Blue Jays as a free agent after a stellar season at and behind the plate for Xavier (Big East), where he slashed .280/.384/.483 with 13 bombs. Jerry also attended Seton Hall University. Jerry is another Staten Island lifer after graduating from Monsignor Farrell High School, where he won a city championship as a senior, and Great Kills Little League as a youngster.

Tom Cosgrove

Tom averaged 13.26 strikeouts per 9 innings in 2022.

Tom is currently a member of the 40-man MLB roster for the San Diego Padres (2017 12th-round pick). Tom had a 2.36 ERA in 2021 after recovering from Tommy John surgery. In 2022, he held hitters to a .173 average and had 88 strikeouts over 55.2 innings pitched. Tom attended Manhattan College after playing for the Staten Island Orioles Travel baseball team, and Monsignor Farrell High School. He also played for South Shore Little League.
