    Pitching lessons usually include:

    • Video analysis and breakdown to identify inefficiencies in pitching mechanics and to inform instruction.
    • Pitching drills to work on command and velocity.
    • Weighted ball training to improve throwing velocity (Pulldowns, etc.).
    • Plyo-ball drills to work on throwing mechanics.
    • Drills to practice at home for sustained improvement.
    • “Prehab” drills with bands and weights to promote healthy shoulder and rotator cuff.
    • High, medium, and low intent days to ensure arm health.
    • Learning new pitches that work for your arm slot.
    • Pitch design and analysis with Rapsodo to improve pitch arsenal (for advanced players)
    • Weight training to improve speed and power.

     

    Hitting lessons usually include:

    • Video analysis and breakdown to identify inefficiencies in swing mechanics and to inform instruction.
    • Hit Trax account to track your progress.
    • Overload/underload training to improve hand speed.
    • One-hand hitting drills to improve swing path.
    • Practice hitting offspeed pitches with the hack attack pitching machine.
    • Weight training to improve bat speed.
    • Medicine ball drills to improve rotational speed.
    • Tee drills to work on timing and rhythm at the plate
    • Game planning and mental skills work to help you perform at your best when your best is needed!
